About
You are welcome to attend this training introducing the work of Marshall Rosenberg and Non-Violent Communication. It will lay the foundation for you to attend the Level Two training in March 2025 with CNVC certified trainer Kathy Ziola in Salt Lake City, UT.
You will leave this introductory training with a new ability to conduct self-empathy and empathy buddy sessions. As you continue practicing empathy beyond this training, you will naturally enjoy more fulfilling connection in your relationship with yourself and others.
By the end of the training, you will understand the basic components of Non-Violent Communication and how they're different from the ineffective thinking and communication habits dominant in mainstream culture. You will practice honestly expressing what's living in you and listening for what's living in others.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of Non-Violent Communication. It's for individuals, couples, business owners, therapists, coaches, chaplains, etc.

Training structure...
Sessions will be held in-person at Attunement Psychotherapy Healing Center in downtown Salt Lake City. You have the option of sitting on the ground, on a yoga mat, cushion, or in a folding chair. Even though we're working with words, language, and the domain of the mind, this training will be approached through a somatic lens.
The schedule is Friday evening 6-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 9am-5pm the weekend of February 28th through March 2nd, 2025.
